MX Passion is a motocross news aggregator app that delivers race results, news, and videos from various public sources. The app is owned and operated by Alex Gavard and hosted on secure servers provided by Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany).

2. What Data We Collect

2.1 Automatically Collected:

App usage data (which screens are used, time spent)
Firebase Instance ID (anonymous user identifier)
Push notification token (to send updates)

2.2 Optional data:

If you send feedback or request a source via email, your message and email address will be collected.

3. Technologies Used

3.1 Firebase (by Google)

We use Firebase for:

Cloud Firestore (to store your preferences)
Cloud Messaging (for optional push notifications)

Firebase may collect device identifiers and crash reports. Firebase data is processed according to Google’s Privacy Policy.

3.2 Strapi CMS

Our backend content is managed via Strapi (open-source headless CMS), hosted on a Hetzner VPS in Germany. No personal user data is stored in Strapi.

3.3 YouTube API

We use the YouTube Data API to fetch and display videos from official motocross YouTube channels. All videos are embedded and played via YouTube.
